Originally debuted at its FW20 show back in January, the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle has been on the radar of almost every sneakerhead on the planet. We’ve seen countless teasers, colourways and early images of the double-stacked silhouette over the past nine months, with little to no release date in sight. Sadly, things aren’t looking to change any time soon. However, we do have even more images to check out, specifically of the “Burgundy” sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle.
Boasting a fall-ready colour scheme, the upcoming sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle is already looking like a hit. Combining both the Nike Pegasus and Nike VaporFly, the silhouette takes the same design cues as its predecessor. Double Swooshes, laces, soles and tongues come together to create a slick-looking sneaker. Material wise, this could be more premium than the sacai x Nike LDWaffle. Luxury suede and leather adorn the lace, mudguard and heel, with the combination of burgundy, green, black and cream working perfectly.
Right now, there’s no confirmed release date on the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle. Although the shoe has been seen multiple times, we’re yet to receive drop info.
