There is no doubt that Virgil Abloh’s relationship with Nike is one of the strongest in sneakers. Since launching “The Ten” 2017, the two have launched some of the most hyped shoes in history. Now, over 40 sneakers later, it doesn’t look like Virgil Abloh x Nike is going anywhere. Fortunately for sneakerheads around the world, we could be seeing another Off-White™ x Nike Air Max 90 drop next month.
Originally unveiled back in January, the Off-White™ x Nike Air Max 90 “University Red” has largely gone quiet. Sporting the same classic details as to its predecessors, the latest Off-White™ Air Max 90 features an entirely red upper. The semi-translucent red mesh is contrasted by rich red suede across the side panels. An orange Swoosh is paired with a set of white laces and a teal stripe across it. The midsole unit looks largely close to the Off-White™ “Desert Ore” Air Max 90 that released in 2018.
Of course, this is all just speculation, for now, however, multiple sources are beginning to report that the shoes will launch in July for €160. As for now, there is no official news from Nike or Off-White™ but we remain optimistic these will launch. Check out the image below and let us know if you’d cop these Off-White™ 90s.
