Since founding Off-White™ in 2013, Virgil Abloh has grown the brand into one of the most formidable forces in fashion. Collaborations with labels like Moncler and Nike show just how popular Off-White™ is. Abloh’s 2017 collaboration with Nike on “The Ten” created history, something that Abloh is only too aware of. Three years and over 40 sneakers later, it doesn’t look as though Off-White™ x Nike is going anywhere. Thankfully, we have another Off-White™ Air Jordan on the horizon.
Originally debuted at the “Figures of Speech” exhibit at the MCA Chicago, the Off-White™ Jordan 4 has been doing the rounds on the internet for a while. Early looks given by Abloh showed the premium take on the classic sneaker, something that many sneakerheads got very excited about. Now, we have an official look at the Off-White™ Air Jordan 4.
Using a “Sail” colour scheme, Abloh has deconstructed the Jordan 4, using a stripped-back approach on this iconic silhouette. A combination of suede, leather and mesh ensures that this Off-White™ Jordan is the most luxury so far. Unique details such as the translucent heel tab, complete with “Nike Air” on the back, and eyelets reinvent this 31-year-old sneaker all together. Signature elements such as text on the medial side, laces and midsole, as well as the zip tag, have been included on this Off-White™ Air Jordan.
Set to release towards the end of July for €200, this is one drop you don’t want to miss this month. Check out the official images from Nike below and let us know if you’ll cop these Off-White™ Jordans.
