New Balance has kicked 2020 off in style. The Boston-based brand has released a string of high profile collaborations, including the likes of Kith, WTAPS and soon to be JJJJound. Of course, it hasn’t forgotten its roots, reissuing some classic silhouettes. One of those returning in 2020 was the 992, much to the delight of New Balance fans around the globe. After a fairly limited release earlier this year the “Nimbus Cloud” 992 is finally making a return this week.
Building on the clean appearance of the 992, New Balance has draped this classic model in neutral tones. A combination of white, grey and silver throughout the sneaker makes the shoe perfect for the coming summer months. The simple approach is contrasted by the use of premium materials like suede and leather have been contrasted with the familiar mesh. Sitting atop a reactive midsole, the “Nimbus Cloud” 992 is as stylish as it is comfortable.
