February is without a doubt one of the biggest months in the sneaker industry. Big events like the Super Bowl and All-Star Weekend help drive brands to go big. With that in mind, adidas and Yeezy have some big plans lined up for this month. After the success of the “Triple Black” adidas Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN last week, it looks as though the two have another regional release planned for the “Orange” iteration of the shoe.
Whilst the “Triple Black” opted for a subtle approach, it’s “Orange” counterpart is anything but. Comprised using the same nylon upper, the bright orange colour is bold, to say the least. The large “700” graphic, complete in 3M reflective material, lets others know what Yeezy model this is. Other reflective accents can also be found on the toe and the heel of the shoe.
The use of a leather tongue and black rope laces across the upper creates a sense of balance. Black nylon details can also be spotted towards the sock liner, with the all-black sock liner finishing the upper off well. Using the same sole as the original Yeezy 700, this shoe opts for a simpler, stripped-down approach to its construction. The chunky midsole is a throwback to the original Yeezy 700, complete with exposed Boost material underneath.
However, fans looking to get their hands on a pair may face some difficulties. Just like the “Triple Black” version, this will be a regional exclusive to Paris, Shanghai and Los Angeles. Dropping on February 28th, this will be a must cop for any sneakerhead.
