If we’re being honest, 2020 has without a doubt belonged to Ronnie Fieg. Throughout this year, the Kith founder has shown us just why his beloved NYC label is one of the strongest in streetwear. Collaborations with The Godfather, Coca-Cola and, of course, BMW, have put Kith at the top of the industry. Of course, he shows no signs of stopping there. As an avid fan of New Balance, it now looks like another Kith 992 is on the way this year.
Although we don’t have a lot to go off, we do at least have a glimpse of what’s to come. Taking the New Balance 992, Ronnie Fieg has draped the shoe in a buttery light brown suede. This tan adorns everything from the mesh to the leather tongue, putting a premium spin on this classic model. Cutting through this tonal sneaker is a white ENCAP midsole, complete with a black sole and silver heel cage. Subtle “Fieg” branding can be seen on the heel tab, something we suspect will also be on the tongue.
For now, we don’t have much information on a release date. However, given the drops of previous Kith x New Balance 992s, you can expect this to come out sooner rather than later. Check out the image below and let us know if you’ll cop these Ronnie Fieg New Balance.
