After Union LA founder Chris Gibbs hinted that a potential collaboration on an Air Jordan 4 was coming, the sneaker world was at attention. When asked about the collab on Twitter, a simple retweet gave fans an indication that the shoe would come to life. Well, it seems as though Union LA is continuing to keep us all on our toes regarding the release.
The latest teaser from the Los Angeles born brand is a subtle nod to the rumours. Union LA tweeted Tinker Hatfield’s original Air Jordan 4 sketch from 1988, further adding to the hype. No text accompanies the tweet, continuing to make sneakerheads wait to find out more info.
Hatfield sketch shows the complete design process of the Air Jordan 4 in detail. Though there are no current images of what the Union LA x Air Jordan 4 will look like, given the successful formula Union took on the Air Jordan 1, we can expect the sneaker to be an ode to the good old days.
