Long time fans of Supreme will now rejoice at the fact that the brand is working with late artist Rammellzee again. The two first partnered when Supreme opened it’s doors in 1994. Since then, the well-known graffiti artist’s work has been used on Supreme pieces for a number of seasons. For SS20, Supreme is taking things back to the roots of the long-standing relationship.
Using Rammellzee’s signature aesthetic, Supreme has given a number of pieces a gritty New York aesthetic. A spray paint-covered tracksuit with unique patterns is arguably the best item to drop. The combination of primary colours, as well as hidden designs throughout. If you’re looking for an eye-catching piece this season, then this is for you.
Other items dropping from Supreme this week include two Rammellzee style T-shirts. One features an image of the artist wearing a Supreme box logo T-shirt: an image that any hardcore Supreme fan will instantly recognise. On the back of the T-shirt, a conceptual artwork of Rammellzee’s can be seen. The second T-shirt features a Supreme logo scrawled in Rammellzee’s instantly recognisable graffiti stroke.
