Over the past 13 weeks, Supreme has been pushing ever closer to having one of the most successful seasons. Though the physical stores may be closed, the spirit of the streetwear community has not been dampened. Online releases have become the norm, with the past 10 weeks moving completely to the website. Supreme has just a few weeks left of the SS20 campaign, with this week’s “Waves” collection being one of the final big launches.
Taking inspiration from traditional Chinese artwork, Supreme has dressed Work Jackets, Jeans, Jumpers, Bucket Hats and a Ceramic Bowl in a graphic print. Art features waves and koi fish, with a simple Supreme box logo weaved in throughout. Whilst the black and orange may provide a safer option, it is the blue, white and pink that has caught everyone’s eye. The bold design has been one of the most coveted items of SS20, with many patiently waiting for it to drop.
Of course, that’s not the only big item dropping this week. Supreme announced on Monday that its collaboration with Mac Tools would also be launching this week. Supreme has dressed a work station in red metal and placed a large “Supreme” logo across the front. Other notable details include a chrome Supreme box logo at the top. Unfortunately for EU residents, this is a US-only release.
Whilst that may be a disappointment, Supreme has ensured that we are compensated via a few other key items. A set of Silk Pyjamas are also launching this week, with a mystery phone case also in the works too. According to early reports, a number of Camp Caps, Graphic T-shirts and Hoodies are also planned for this week too.
