When the Yeezy Quantum “Frozen Blue” first popped up on Kanye West’s Twitter back in September, sneaker fans were quick to take notice. Continuing Kanye’s work in the athletic footwear field, the Yeezy Quantum is Yeezus’ first-ever basketball shoe. As we’ve seen from the “Quantum” and “Barium” colourways, they’ve been a big success. Now, it looks as though the “Frozen Blue” Yeezy Quantum iteration is set to drop in December this year.
Previewed by Yeezy Mafia, the “Frozen Blue” Quantum maybe our favourite so far. Constructed in a slate grey Primeknit upper, the shoe is accented with an off-white coloured sole. Of course, it is the bright blue cages and accents that give the shoe its name. Spanning across most of the upper, the “Frozen Blue” midsection is certainly eye-catching, with a tie-dye effect adding nice depth. Ensuring things are kept neutral is a black neoprene sock liner and tongue, though the cream suede toe adds a nice finishing touch.
If you like the look of the Yeezy Quantum “Frozen Blue,” then you’ve got a little longer to wait. As for now, the sneaker is rumoured to drop in December 2020 for €250. Check out the image below and let us know if you’ll cop these Yeezys.
