Over the past five years, Kanye West and adidas have become one of the most successful sneaker partnerships in history. After a dramatic exit from Nike, West was brought to the brand with the three stripes almost immediately. Since then, multiple silhouettes, clothing collections and full family releases have made adidas Yeezys a global powerhouse. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like the momentum is going anywhere anytime soon.
Having previously reported on the adidas Yeezy Boost 380 “Hylte Glow” we now have our first look at the sneaker in hand. Taking the midcut silhouette, the Yeezy team has decorated the shoe in an eye-catching neon Primeknit upper. A contrasting sock liner and set of laces have also been used, making the large “Volt” stripe across the midsection stand out more. The muted grey Boost midsole allows the upper to take pride of place, though that is hardly needed with this colourway.
If you are looking to get your hands on the Yeezy 380s, you have a little longer to wait. The adidas Yeezy Boost 380 “Hylte Glow” is set to launch in Fall 2020 for €230. Check out the in hand images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Yeezys.
