It’s been a monumental year for Kanye West. The 44-year-old music producer turned footwear mogul was recently announced to be a billionaire. A number of silhouettes have helped Kanye on his journey to becoming extremely wealthy. However, there is one model in particular that has helped him: the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like the model will be going anywhere any time soon, with an upcoming “Abez” colourway set to launch.
Whilst details are still only just beginning to filter through, the “Abez” will launch this year. Taking its name from the Hebrew word for “tin”, the sneaker features a combination of white and silver throughout the Primeknit upper. The instantly recognisable patterns can be seen across the upper, creating added depth and texture. A set of cream laces, as well as a cream outsole, help bring the sneaker together. Sitting atop a semi-translucent Boost midsole unit, this is a slick-looking silhouette.
Rumours suggest that the “Abez” adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 will launch later this year for €220. With Kanye’s favoured earthy palette remaining at the core of recent Yeezy colourways, this simple approach makes a refreshing change.
