Originally released in 1988, the Air Jordan 3 quickly became one of the hottest sneakers in history. Since then, hundreds of colourways, countless collaborations and an army of sneakerheads have made sure the Jordan 3 remains an icon. 32 years later and Jordan Brand is also making sure the Jordan 3 stays current. This year, the AJ3 has been dropped in multiple colourways using new and exciting materials. However, the Air Jordan 3 SE Denim “White Fire Red” is taking it one step further.
Taking the classic combination of white leather and fire red accents, the AJ3 SE Denim “White Fire Red” is already making some noise in the community. Denim elephant print accents adorn the mudguard, heel and lace eyelets. A bold red Jumpman on the tongue references the first colourway of the Air Jordan 3 nicely. A simple white midsole and outsole finish this well-balanced sneaker off. However, it is the heel tab that has really got people talking.
The crystal clear heel tab is a detail never seen before on an Air Jordan 3 at retail. It features a white “Nike Air” logo printed onto the sneaker, with the heel tab using an embossed Jumpman logo just above it. This simple addition merges both Air Jordan 3s from the past and from the future, making for a highly desirable shoe.
