adidas is synonymous with athletic running footwear. For over 70 years, the sportswear giant has been a pillar of the worlds leading brands. In that time, it has come up with countless innovations, from the Micropacer to Primeknit. However, none are as more poignant as adidas BOOST Technology. Now, adidas is looking to merge two of its most iconic products together to create a brand new model; the ZX 2K BOOST.
Taking the classic 1984 ZX running silhouette, adidas has brought the model into the future with a BOOST midsole. This is, in fact, the first time that a ZX model has used BOOST, yet the combination makes perfect sense. Taking cues from the ZX line, the ZX 2K BOOST uses an engineered mesh combined with welded overlays to create an all-in-one sneaker. A technical lacing system comes complete with striking designs to complete this eye-catching shoe.
Dropping in three colours, the adidas ZX 2K BOOST is set to launch on the adidas store on August 1st. If you’re feeling these upcoming adidas running sneakers, then let us know if you plan on copping.
