When Medicom Toy and Nike SB linked up back in 2002, the collaborations quickly became a grail for many collectors. Over the past 18 years, Nike and Medicom Toy have continued to work together, with the sneakers being a key focus. As you would expect, the Nike SB Dunk Low is often the sneaker of choice, with the original pairs selling for thousands. Now, however, we have a look at a Medicom Toy x Nike SB Blazer Low sample.
Much like the upcoming Medicom Toy x Nike SB Dunk Low that we have seen over the past few months, this Blazer is a textural paradise. However, the Dunk colourway has been flipped on this Blazer, creating a well-balanced pack should they release at the same time. Faux fur almost makes up the entire shoe, with a slight cream allowing the black heel tab to stand out. A faux fur Swoosh also comes as standard, seamlessly blending into the upper, whilst cream laces and matching tongue merge it all together.
Just like the Medicom Toy Nike SB Dunks, there is subtle branding throughout this Blazer. The familiar BE@RBRICK logo can be seen on the heel as well as on the tongue. Other than the Swoosh, there is actually little Nike branding on these SB Blazers. A thick white midsole rounds this Medicom Toy x Nike SB Blazer, bringing these collaborative sneakers to a close.
As for now, there is no release date on these SB Blazers. With this pair expected to be a sample, it is also unlikely that they will ever release, but let’s just keep our fingers crossed. Check out the images below and let us know if you’d cop these Medicom Toy Blazers.
