Over the past two years, sacai and Nike have cooked up some of the most popular sneakers on the planet. Though the partnership may have started in 2015, it was not until the sacai SS19 show that things really got exciting. Fusing two sneakers into one, the sacai x Nike LDWaffle quickly became a fan favourite both on an off the runway. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like things are slowing down anytime soon. We now have a closer look at the next sacai x Nike collaborations courtesy of the Japanese label.
Although the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle has already been seen before, new colourways have now been debuted. Last week, we reported that four colourways of the sneaker were in the works, two of which debuted at the sacai SS21 show. The combination of the Nike Pegasus and Vaporfly features the familiar double-stacked details, coming in both a purple and tan colourway.
Also on show was the Nike Blazer Low. This is the first time that sacai x Nike has dropped a Blazer Low, with very eye-catching results. Taking the familiar double tongues and laces, the sneaker has literally been cut at the ankle to create a low top version. Summer ready colours feature green and grey as well as a much more vibrant yellow, white and orange.
For now, we’ll just have to sit tight on a release date. As these sneakers debuted at the sacai SS21 show, they will be launching next year. Check out the images below and let us know which is your favourite pair of these sacai x Nike sneakers.
