The Air Jordan 1 is without a doubt one of the most important sneakers in history. Despite being 35 years old, the shoe has stayed a staple in the footwear community, with numerous celebrities collaborating on the iconic model. Last year, the introduction of a Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 was one of the standout moments in the calendar. The limited release was and still is a very desirable pair, selling for well over €1,000 even a year later. Thankfully, Nike has plans to release a slightly cheaper alternative later this year.
Whilst it may not officially be a Travis Scott collaboration, the colour scheme certainly looks familiar. A combination of white and black leather gives this shoe a classic 1985 feel, in keeping the traditional “Black Toe” colour scheme. However, it is the use of a premium brown suede on the heel and collar that gives this shoe its Travis Scott feel. A black debossed Wings logo on the ankle is matched with a black Swoosh, with a white midsole and black outsole bringing the shoe to a close.
If you like the look of this upcoming Jordan 1, then there’s good news. The upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG “Dark Mocha” is set to release later this year for around €170. An estimated drop date of November 21st has been set but that has yet to be confirmed. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these AJ1s.
