When images of a Bodega x New Balance 997S began circulating various sneaker outlets late last month, many people wanted to know more about the shoe. Spotted on the feet of Kawhi Leonard, many sneakerheads were quick to notice the collaboration. As one of the champions of the 997S, Bodega has stocked the shoe since it first came back last year. Now, it looks like Bodega and New Balance will be dropping another 997S in Fall.
Following on from the widely successful “No Bad Days” version, Bodega and New Balance seem to be dropping another 997S, aptly named “Better Days.” How very 2020. The sneaker boasts an array of tones and materials, making it one of the more eye-catching 997S’ we’ve seen. Everything from purple to gold and cream to brown feature on this Bodega New Balance, making it one that you won’t forget in a hurry. As you’d expect, the colours are only half the story on this 997S.
Just like its previous New Balance collaborations, Bodega has pushed for premium materials and textures throughout this shoe. A diamond-pattern adorns the heel and is matched by leather, suede and nubuck on the midsection and tongue. Not forgetting comfort, the ABZORB cushioning system features a split colouring system perfectly matched to the toe box. Branding comes in the form of Bodega repeating banner on the tongue, as well as thunderbolt style “NB” logo.
All in all, this is another solid collaboration from Bodega and New Balance. If you like the look of the Bodega x New Balance 997S, then you’ll have to wait a little longer. The sneaker is set to drop in Fall 20 for around €160. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop!
