Sean Wotherspoon’s work with adidas on the SUPEREARTH range has been exciting to watch. As adidas’ first foray into the world of vegan sneakers, SUPEREARTH is a testament to how big brands are trying to change. Earlier this year, Wotherspoon teased another potential collaboration with adidas. Now, it has been confirmed as an upcoming Sean Wotherspoon x adidas SUPEREARTH sneaker, and it certainly looks familiar.
Taking the iconic adidas ZX8000, Sean Wotherspoon has reinterpreted the sneaker into something new entirely. Focusing on sustainability, Wotherspoon and adidas have created a ZX8000 unlike any other. Recycled uppers are made from saved fabric, with a translucent heel cage using no dye. On the heel, Wotherspoon’s peace logo can be seen, with “SUPER EARTH” underneath. Whatever you think, this news is big in the sneaker community.
As for now, that’s all the info we have on the upcoming sneaker. There is no concrete release information, but we do know that the shoe is going to release as part of the A-ZX line. The shoe is scheduled to drop next year, with February 2021 being the earmarked date. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Sean Wotherspoon’s adidas.
