Just last week, we reported that a Packer x New Balance 992 collaboration was in the works. Having been unveiled by Packer buyer, Victor Kan, news of the collab sent NB fans into a frenzy. Over the past seven days, we’ve heard little to nothing in terms of a release date. However, that all looks to be changing. It now looks as though we have a confirmed release date for the Packer x New Balance 992 and it’s sooner than you think.
With Kan giving us our first preview of the New Balance 992 collab, the premium take on the classic dad silhouette is getting us all excited. The tonal colour combination is simple in its approach but certainly not to be overlooked. Cream adorns the mesh and suede found on the upper, whilst rich orange overlays add a nice splash of colour. Grey tumbled leather features on the lace eyelets and tongue, whilst 3M reflective detailing is accented by a split New Balance ENCAP midsole to provide a smooth ride.
Thanks to Packer, we now know that the shoe will drop on September 12th for €240 on its website. As for now, there is no news on whether the shoes will see a wider release but we’re keeping our fingers crossed.
