When the Air Jordan 3 “Seoul” dropped back in March 2018, it quickly became one of the year’s hottest Jordans. Released exclusively in South Korea, the AJ3 “Seoul” celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 3 and 1988 Olympics in Seoul. It didn’t take long for the pair to gain attention outside of the South Korean metropolis, however, with sneakerheads all over the world trying to get a pair. Well, it looks like they could be coming back, but with a twist.
Having been shared by Korean pop icon Sandara, Jordan Brand has plans to re-release the Jordan 3 “Seoul” just for the ladies. According to multiple sources, the shoes will release exclusively in Seoul (again) alongside a number of workshops being set up by the Swoosh. The events that take place will give winners the chance to cop a pair from Jordan Seoul on October 12th. As you might expect, this is going to be one of the most difficult pairs of AJ3s to cop once again.
Sneakerheads will be quick to notice a few differences between this 2020 version and the original 2018 release. For starters, the tissue paper has been changed, taking on the vintage-inspired Jordan ad paper found on new releases. Other slight changes also include a gold hangtag as well as custom shoehorn and dubrae. The good news, however, is that the sneakers have been left completely unchanged.
If you like the look of these, then you’re going to need all of your South Korean connects. Check out the images below and let us know if you’d cop the Air Jordan 3 “Seoul.”
