All the way back in February, we were given a glimpse of an AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High. Originally set to release during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the sneaker was unfortunately delayed due to COVID-19. Of course, that hasn’t stopped sneakerheads from wanting to see more of the collaboration. The good news is that the shoe is still set to release. However, we have now been given a closer look at a “Black/White” colourway thanks to none other than AMBSUH co-founder, Yoon Ahn.
Showed off via a string of selfies, Yoon has debuted the upcoming AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High in some style. Keeping things simple is a traditional OG style colour blocking system across this reimagined Dunk. White leather makes up the majority of the base, with exaggerated black leather overlays creating a bold contrast. The simple tongue tag features a Swoosh and “AMBUSH,” just in case you needed reminding who made this sneaker. A set of black laces and a crisp white midsole and sole round the shoe off, bringing this futuristic Nike Dunk High to a close.
The good news is that Yoon has also revealed a tentative release date too. “Coming 12.2020 and just to throw it out there these will be in ‘MENS’ universal metric sizing for both men and women.” As for now, no price has yet been given, but we’d estimate these will be around the €130 mark. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these AMBUSH Nike Dunks.
