The sneaker industry is no stranger to three-way collaborations, but the latest Marvel x Playstation x adidas Superstar “Miles Morales” may be one of the best we’ve seen. In recent years, gaming companies like Playstation and Xbox have dropped their own signature sneakers. Of course, cartoon franchises are no different, with Marvel, DC and Dragon Ball-Z all getting footwear lines too. Thankfully, Marvel, Playstation and adidas have gone big for this collab.
Following on from the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Chicago Crystal” back in 2018, the sneaker world has grown accustomed to Spider-Man shoes. Taking a traditional approach to Marvel’s Miles Morales iconic outfit, this adidas Superstar dons a black and red leather construction. A black shelltoe takes pride of place and bears a Playstation logo on the lace dubrae. The crimson sole is a nice touch too, but it’s the subtle details that really make this sneaker. On the heel, a web effect wraps around with the classic Spider-Man logo sitting dead in the centre.
We don’t know about you, but our Spidey Senses are tingling about this release. As for now, not much is known about the Marvel x Playstation x adidas Superstar “Miles Morales” but a drop date of November 19th for €90 has been set.
