There’s no denying how important the Dave’s Quality Meats (DQM) x Nike Air Max 90 “Bacon” is to Air Max fans. Originally released in 2004, the sneaker has remained a serious grail for many collectors around the world. Although there were rumours of the shoe making a return in 2020, they never materialised. However, that could be changing very soon. Thanks to the wonderful world of online marketplaces, we could have a potential look at the 2021 DQM x Nike Air Max 90 “Bacon”.
As Nike continues to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 90, the “Bacon” looks to be the next classic colourway that makes a return. Staying very close to the OG pair, the pair utilises varying shades of pink, tan and brown to give it a “Bacon” name. A combination of leather and suede has been used throughout and continues to bacon vibe of this shoe. Even the air unit is finished in a pink hue, rounding off this perfect food-inspired sneaker.
