There is a lot for New Balance to live up to in 2021. After having one of the most successful years in its history, the brand has left many sneakerheads wanting more. Never one to shy away from a challenge, New Balance has already given us a glimpse of what to expect. Collaborations with Sneakersnstuff and Patta have ensured that New Balance is off to a good start. Thankfully, it’s not just collabs it’s relying on. In fact, we now have a closer look at the New Balance 1500 “Steel Blue”.
As one of New Balance’s most successful running silhouettes, the 1500 has been a fan favourite for well over 30 years. New Balance has updated the model with premium suede and finished it in a “Steel Blue” colourway. Contrasting navy suede can also be seen and creates a nice balance between the two colours. The traditional grey mesh has remained the same, whilst the white leather collar is a nice addition. Of course, the familiar ENCAP midsole ensures comfort, although the perfectly executed colour scheme adds a nice touch too.
If you like the look of the upcoming New Balance 1500 “Steel Blue”, then sit tight. As it stands, there is no set release date for the upcoming “Steel Blue” pair.
