Ever since its debut in 2006, the New Balance 992 has had a cult following. After the shoe was given a hiatus just a few years later, NB fans have been patiently waiting for the shoe to be making a return. Well, thankfully there is some good news. The chunky Dad silhouette is finally coming back in a sleek colourway after its long period of absence.
Utilising a sleek combination of white and silver, the New Balance 992 features the same classic materials as when it first released. Superior pigskin suede merges together with traditional mesh to create a well-crafted sneaker. Other details include mesh inserts as well as microfibre lining, with the large ABZORB SBS midsole adding an unprecedented level of comfort.
You can expect these New Balance sneakers to fly off the shelf considering this is the first time they have been reissued in over a decade. With 2020 already bringing some great shoes, it’s good to see brands are heading back into the archive to make sneakerheads happy.
