Over the past few seasons, Supreme x Nike has stepped up its game. What used to be a once year drop has now become once or twice a season regular, with the latest collabs selling out almost instantly. Whilst older Supreme fans will remember the days of Supreme just stocking Nike SBs, the relationship has seemingly spread into athletic wear as well as apparel; with Supreme putting their touch on some unexpected Nike silhouettes.
For 2020, however, it seems as though the streetwear powerhouse is taking it back a notch, putting a simple touch on one of Nike’s most classic shoes; the Air Force 1.
Although this is of course not the first time that Supreme has dropped an Air Force 1, it is the first time that it has taken such a simple approach to the sneaker. Using Bruce Kilgore’s iconic design, Supreme has opted for a less is more ethos on this particular collaboration.
All-white leather is complimented through the use of satin lining as well as U-throat Swoosh embroidery, a throwback to previous Air Force 1 styles. Whilst there may be no obvious signs that this is even a Supreme x Nike collaboration, a small box logo has been placed on the heel as well as custom insoles.
A Supreme logo has been placed under the traditional Nike Air tongue tag too, adding for good measure. Now official images have surfaced, we have a closer look at an all-black pair too. Spare sets of laces are also included with the white pair have red and white and the black pair using black and white.
Information regarding the release is only just beginning to surface but you can expect these Supreme x Nike Air Force 1s to release at some point in the upcoming SS20 season.
