There is no denying just how successful the Pharrell Williams x adidas NMD Hu has been in the sneaker community. Since first being released back in 2016, the silhouette has seen a number of high profile releases and sought after F&F pairs. Whilst many thought that the Pharrell NMD Hu was over, it’s had something of a resurgence this past year. Now, the upcoming “Cream” pair is set to drop this week in extremely limited numbers.
With only 250 pairs available worldwide, the Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu “Cream” is one of the rarest NMD Hus on the planet. Created in a cream knitted upper, the shoe features a pleated texture to elevate it above a regular NMD Hu. Black chenille on the inspirational forefoot message is contrasted with black and blue accents across the EVA foam overlays. A clear brown cage works well with the black speckle trail laces, with the rubber outsole bringing the whole sneaker together.
The launch of this Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu has also be a highlight. adidas has been using autonomous robots to deliver the sneakers to friends and family of the brand. This decision comes from Pharrell’s vision of having endless possibilities. The robots represent cutting edge technology, minimal waste and a COVID-19 compliant method of delivery.
As you can probably imagine, these Pharrell adidas are going to be tough to get. Just 250 pairs will be launching, meaning that these are going to be very rare. A retail price of €220 has also been set, making this a serious come up if you cop. Launching on the adidas Confirmed App and Billionaire Boys Club, good luck if you want these.
