We’re back with another instalment of 5Qs and 5As, the interview series where we meet Team KLEKT members. Today, we’re chatting to one of the most important people to the success of Team KLEKT – @c__k_. Over the past few years, CK has been one of the main driving forces behind the scenes, working hard to ensure that things run smoothly. As a dedicated sneakerhead, it made perfect sense to bring CK to the team.

Today, we’ll be giving you an insight into the man himself and learning more about his love of sneakers. We’ll be learning more about his origins with sneakers and how having a fresh pair of kicks was always important, even from a young age. There will also be more about what CK’s role entails and if you’re interested in joining Team KLEKT, you’ll find out how. You’ll also get a glimpse at his top five pairs too! Hey it’s great to have you here, can you please introduce yourself?

My name is Clemens Kuchinka aka CK but you may know me from Instagram as @c__k_! I’m 27 years old and I live in Innsbruck, Austria, but I was born in Kitzbühel – it’s known for having one of the hardest ski races in the world!

Together with my girlfriend, I run SNKREMPIRE – a platform some of you may be familiar with. We keep up to date with the latest sneaker raffles, new drops and recently launched our own app. On the side, I run a little social media agency and I also work for KLEKT!

How did your passion for sneakers start?

My first pair was when I was in the stroller, the classic Nike Air Huarache. When I was 7 years old, I went on holiday to the USA where I got a pair of Nike Shox. When I came back to the school in Austria, I felt like the coolest kid in those sneakers. I can’t really remember where everything starts, I just copped new shoes because I’ve always been into fashion and sneakers because of my family. I

Do you have a holy grail?

I definitely have a Holy Grail and I know one day I am gonna buy it. For me, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Cherrywood” is my ultimate shoe. The colour and the collaboration is just perfect in my eyes. Unfortunately, the price is crazy so if anyone has a US10-11, hit me up with a good price.

So, CK, you also work for KLEKT. Can you tell us a little bit more about your role?

That’s right, yes. Together with Heiko, the founder, I run Team KLEKT. We are always looking for new Team Members and reach out to people we think would be a suitable fit. When looking for new members, the most important rule we follow is making sure that people actually collect sneakers, not just collecting the current hyped pairs. I also help out with the KLEKT social media sometimes too and am always looking for new and interesting content.
