There is no denying that the NBA is one of the key pillars of sneaker culture. For almost three-quarters of a century, the NBA has provided the sporting world with some iconic players, moments and shoes. With the league close to its 75th anniversary, there have been some key celebrations planned. However, it now looks as though a commemorative Nike Dunk Low is in the works.
Fast approaching its diamond anniversary, Nike has created a special Dunk for the NBAs key celebration. Taking inspiration from the league’s logo, Nike has opted for a simple yet very effective pair of Dunks. A combination of red, white and black comes together to create a well-balanced shoe.
Although these may look like Chicago Dunks, they’re far from it. Vibrant red on the toe, eyelets and sole works nicely with smooth black and white leather and adds a splash of colour. On the tongue, the NBA player and “75th Anniversary” feature in script font, alongside a diamond on the lace dubrae.
If you like the look of the NBA Nike Dunk Low “75th Anniversary” then sit tight. As it stands there is not much information on this shoe. However, sources claim that an October release date is most likely. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Dunks.
