It’s been a quiet couple of months since Supreme closed its doors in December. The FW19 season saw Supreme drop some of its wildest pieces so far, as well as some future classics. There is no denying that the hype around the brand is still as big as ever, thanks in part to the hard work of everyone behind the brand. With SS20 about to kick off for many other brands in streetwear, Supreme has taken to Instagram to reveal it will be too.
Although there is only one image of the upcoming season so far, it is already shaping up to be a big one. A gold denim jacket, with the brand name debossed and distressed on the back, takes pride of place. In typical Supreme fashion, there is a reference to money in the form of a hoodie; complete in a green colour with what looks to be features of the American $20 bill. Red velour trousers use white detailing and round the whole ensemble off nicely.
“New Spring/Summer 2020 collection coming soon” is the only clue we have about the season so far. However, if history is anything to go by we can expect the new items to start dropping later this month. Early reports suggest that Supreme will be working with Nike and the MLB this year.
Even after 25 years in the business, Supreme still manages to excite fans with what it produces. Thankfully, we can expect some surprises.
