While Travis’ usual Jordan collabs are still making waves, it’s safe to say his new signature Jumpman Jack model has been a standout for 2024. Now, he’s looking to close out the year with his second signature, the Nike Zoom Field Jaxx.
The Zoom Field Jaxx is a mash-up of the Zoom Spiridon and the Land Shark basketball cleat. It actually debuted in July, with the ‘Sail’ colourway dropping in limited quantities ahead of the MLB Home Run Derby in Travis’ home state of Texas. The second colourway, ‘Light Chocolate’, is looking at a wider release to give this elusive silhouette some mass appeal.
This pair comes in a cream, open mesh upper with premium white leather overlays. Chocolate brown leather Swooshes sit on the sides, with matching Nike branding on the tongue. The Cactus Jack face logo is embroidered on the heel, with bold ‘CACTUS’ branding on the midfoot strap.
Underneath, we get a thick Zoom Air midsole, completely covered in chocolate brown. The midsole also features unique swirling details, with shark teeth bursting out of the forefoot. The cream outsole comes in a uniquely segmented, futuristic look. The outsole is even decorated with special details around its edges, with Travis’ dystopian sci-fi ‘CACT.US CORPORATION’ logo stamped on the midfoot.
The Nike x Travis Scott Zoom Field Jaxx ‘Light Chocolate’ is rumoured to drop sometime in December. This pair makes up just one part of Travis’ packed Holiday season. The ‘Dark Mocha’ Jumpman Jacks are dropping on the 26th of November, and the ‘Velvet Brown’ AJ1 Low also dropping in December.
