Nigel Sylvester first kicked off his Air Jordan partnership with a distressed pair of 1s all the way back in 2018. Since then, he’s had some standout success with the AJ4 OG and RM. But now, he’s back on the 1 with the ‘Better With Time’ colourway.
His first AJ1 Low, the ‘Better With Time’ comes in a tumbled black leather upper. Meanwhile, sail accents cover the Swooshes, the nylon tongue, and the Jordan Wings on the heel. Nigel’s signature mini Swoosh is also embroidered in gold on the toe cap.
The real details to look out for are the unique distressed effects on the upper. This pre-scuffed look mirrors Nigel’s first Jordan, and is inspired by the wear and tear that comes with his high-octane sport of BMX. The worn-in look continues on the vintage Air midsole and the faded red rubber outsole.
