After bringing the Mars Yard last year, Tom Sachs and NikeCraft are returning to their wonderfully utilitarian design, the General Purpose Shoe. This upcoming fifth colourway switches things up with an all-new black leather upper.
Replacing the tightly woven mesh and suede overlays of the previous colourways, this pair is made with tumbled black leather with perforations running throughout. The Swooshes on these sides stand out in white leather, with hits of royal blue on the fabric pull tabs found on the tongue and heel. The thick midsole comes in brown, with a black rubber outsole featuring Nike’s patent waffle iron pattern.
The ‘Black & Team Royal’ pair is the fifth colourway of the NikeCraft GPS. This follows three widely released colourways and a fourth pair exclusive to participants of 2025’s ISRU summer camp who didn’t secure the Mars Yard 3.0. With the GPS back in the spotlight, this elevated leather version might serve as a foundation for future colourways.
The NikeCraft x Tom Sachs General Purpose Shoe ‘Black & Team Royal’ is rumoured to release on 1 March. Don’t forget to add your size to your wishlist, and check out all the other NikeCraft pairs available on KLEKT
