After months of speculation, early release images and teasers, the wait for the “JackBoys” Nike SB Dunk Low is almost over. Whilst the sneaker has been somewhat divisive, and with a surprise drop on Saturday, there is no denying the hype surrounding it. Given that this is the first Nike Dunk that Travis has designed, it’s going to be one of the year’s biggest drops. Fans will have the chance to cop the Travis Scott x Nike sneaker on Saturday.
Using the same inspiration as the third Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1, a theme of deconstruction and mixed panels has been used on this Nike SB Dunk Low. Scott’s love affair with a combination of materials can be seen throughout this shoe. Contrasting denim, complete with bandana print, works against plaid and tan suede.
Mismatched Swooshes in pink and black add another element of depth. However, what makes this shoe great is what lies underneath. A hidden panel lies underneath the denim bandana to reveal a custom print designed by Travis Scott. Thick rope laces, as well as Catus Jack branding on the tongue, ensure that this shoe stands out. A grey sock liner and bandana print insole add another element to this sneaker. Housed in the classic rainbow SB box, this is one Dunk you won’t forget soon.
With this being a skate shop exclusive, you can be sure that this will be a tough cop. Stay tuned to the KLEKT Blog where we’ll be dropping a full raffle list of the EU stores stocking these.
