Over the past few years, the New Balance 993 has seen a steady return. The chunkier soled younger brother of the 992 found a place in the heart of many NB fans. In recent years, the resurgence of the dad silhouette has only helped its popularity. Thankfully, New Balance is keeping things fresh so the model doesn’t go out of style. One of those fresh colourways comes in the form of “Vintage Indigo.”
Taking the classic 993 design, New Balance has replaced the traditional grey suede and mesh with rich indigo versions. All of this rich indigo is contrasted by grey accents on the toe, tongue and towards the heel. Of course, it wouldn’t be a New Balance without a think chunky midsole unit. This particular 993 boasts a grey and white split midsole and a black outsole. The silver “N” motif rounds the sneaker off nicely, balanced by a set of white laces.
