With his newfound billionaire status, you would think that Kanye would be thinking of slowing down. Having been declared to have a net worth of $1.3 billion last week, Yeezus has officially joined Diddy and Jay-Z as one of the richest rappers in the world. Of course, this is down to his adidas Yeezy line. Popular silhouettes like the adidas Yeezy 350 V2 have helped Kanye acquire such a large wealth. Now, it looks like they’re going to continue to do so, with a new “Asriel” colourway being unveiled.
First images of the new “Asriel” 350 V2 have surfaced online. Taking a similar approach to the previous “Cinder” release, the “Asriel” features a largely plain black Primeknit upper. Splashes of contrasting grey can be seen throughout the upper in various patterns. Of course, the post-dyed side stripe also helps to add another element to this sneaker too. A set of black rope laces and the absence of a heel tab finish the upper off nicely too.
Furthermore, Yeezy has kept things relatively simple when it comes to the midsole section. A semi-translucent midsole and outsole let this eye-catching upper do all the talking. The classic Boost sole unit has been exposed underneath, giving wearers the chance to see the comfort technology up close.
