Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that Supreme recently launched its full SS20 preview and lookbook yesterday. The New York skate brand has continued to push its design process well into the new decade, offering a wide range of styles for its new campaign. If you’re looking to cop a new Supreme sweatshirt, then this season definitely has something for you.
In keeping with its affiliation with large graphic branding and allover prints, Supreme is continuing with bold statement pieces. Various inspiration can be seen throughout the SS20 sweatshirt range. One of the most eye-catching pieces comes in the form of a hoodie featuring an explicit message across the front: “WE WANTED TO BE KNOWN AS SUPREME”.
Other notable pieces include mixed-artwork mediums from the likes of Keegan Dakkar and Rammellzee; the latter of which is the first artist Supreme worked with. Conceptual graphic applications adorn hooded sweatshirts, each laden with a large photo on the back. Furthermore, Naomi Campbell makes an appearance too in the form of a Mark Gonzales illustration.
One of the most coveted items from every SS season, however, is the box logo. This time, Supreme has used an embossed appliqué to create a worn away look. Early fans of the brand will remember the similar-looking design used by KAWS.
