A Closer Look at the Wu-Tang Dunks

The Wu-Tang Dunk Highs are coming back way sooner than originally expected, set to drop early this November. With the release only a few days away, now’s the perfect time to take a closer look at these returning grails.

As you’d expect, all the classic details are recreated. The premium leather upper comes in the ‘Iowa’ colourway, with yellow overlays on a black base. The Wu-Tang Clan’s emblem appears on the tongue tag and is embroidered on the heel.

What about release details? We know there have already been shock drops via SNKRS, with the Wu-Tang Clan’s site allowing fans to sign up for notifications. What we still don’t know is how many more pairs will be available compared to the original limited release of 36 pairs.

What we do know is that a limited number of these pairs will come in a special box. This honeycomb box pays homage to the Wu-Tang Killa Bees. The shoes even come bundled with a Staten Island Honey candle, a nod to the group’s home. Some of these boxes have even been signed by the Clan’s leader himself, the RZA, but these may be limited to Friends & Family. Either way, it looks like the Wu-Tang Dunks are about to become a collector’s item once again.

The general release of the new Wu-Tang Dunk High is set for the 9th of November. While we don’t know the exact stock we can assume they’ll be hard to cop. Be sure to check for listings on the KLEKT app if you miss out on the retail release.
