Nike is bringing one of the biggest names in manga and anime to one of its most recognisable silhouettes. For September 2026, the Swoosh is teaming up with One Piece for a three-piece Air Max Plus collection inspired by the series' legendary Devil Fruits.
Rather than simply adding One Piece branding to the TN, Nike has reworked each pair around a different Devil Fruit: Gomu Gomu no Mi, Mera Mera no Mi, and Ope Ope no Mi. The result is three colourful takes on the Air Max Plus, with each design reflecting the powers and visual identity of its respective fruit.
The Gomu Gomu edition arrives in a vibrant mix of purple and green. Inspired by Monkey D. Luffy's rubber-based powers, it's easily the most psychedelic pair of the collection. The Mera Mera opts for a fiery yellow and orange gradient, referencing the Flame-Flame Fruit. Completing the trio, the Ope Ope combines berry reds and jade greens for a look inspired by Trafalgar Law's reality-bending abilities.
Each Air Max Plus also features a custom swirling upper pattern based on its Devil Fruit, alongside a Nike-inspired Jolly Roger logo on the tongue. Matching apparel and accessories will release alongside the footwear, turning the project into a full One Piece collection rather than a standalone sneaker collaboration.
The three Nike x One Piece Air Max Plus colourways are scheduled to make there debut in Tokyo on 4 September 2026, with the wider global collection expected through Nike SNKRS on 25 September.
