DESCRIPTION

KLEKT is looking for a hungry, commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to join and
lead its finance function, driving core financial processes and supporting strategic projects
for growth. This role requires strong technical finance leadership, sound commercial
judgment, and the confidence to operate across group reporting, international compliance,
cash management, and strategic planning. The role will be remote, with stakeholders across
Europe, North America and the UAE.

You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the SVP of Operations and other
members of the senior leadership team, providing financial discipline, operational insight,
and strategic support across a complex international group structure. Managing the existing
Accounts Assistant, and external accounting firms, you will take ownership of an established
finance function by learning, optimising, and continuously improving existing systems,
controls, and processes to build a best-in-class finance operation.

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining
strong financial controls, and delivering the financial information needed for confident
decision-making. You will also support senior leadership on key strategic initiatives including
fundraising, forecasting, partnerships, and long-term business planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Own the monthly management accounts process, ensuring timely, accurate reporting
and clear financial visibility for senior leadership
● Prepare board packs, financial reports, and performance analysis to support
decision-making
● Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, liquidity planning, and group cash
management
● Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic financial planning
across departments
● Maintain strong financial controls, policies, and internal processes across the group
● Oversee statutory compliance including tax, VAT, payroll, and year-end accounts
across UK and international entities
● Manage cross-border finance operations, including intercompany accounting,
consolidated reporting, transfer pricing awareness, and entity governance across UK,
EU, and US operations
● Oversee international payroll and compliance through PEO partners across multiple
jurisdictions
● Coordinate external audit processes and manage relationships with accountants,
auditors, legal advisors, banking partners, and other professional advisors
● Support payroll oversight, accounts payable / receivable, and day-to-day finance
operations
● Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting, automation, and
operational efficiency
● Support fundraising, investor reporting, due diligence, M&A activity, restructuring, and
international expansion initiatives where required
● Take ownership of additional financial and administrative responsibilities as the
business continues to scale
● Other general administrative and financial tasks as required
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
● Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
● 7+ years’ experience in finance, accounting, or financial control roles
● Experience in a high-growth SME, startup, scale-up, or fast-moving commercial
environment preferred
● Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial acumen
● Excellent Excel financial modelling capability
● Experience with QuickBooks and Xero
● Experience managing audits, compliance, and statutory reporting
● Strong communicator with confidence working directly with senior leadership and
board members
● Comfortable working independently and taking ownership in a lean environment
● Experience across multi-entity or international structures
● Exposure to fundraising, investor reporting, or PE/VC-backed businesses

Depending on location and experience. Stock Option equity package.
