Every Pokémon Sneaker Collaboration So Far (2018 to 2026)

Pokémon turned 30 this year, and the sneaker world has noticed. In the space of a few months, adidas, PUMA and Crocs have all released Pokémon collections, and pairs that would have been a niche curiosity a decade ago now sell through quickly.

It was not always like this. For a long time, Pokémon sneakers were mostly something you found in the kids' section. That changed slowly, one collaboration at a time. Here is every major Pokémon sneaker collaboration so far, from the first FILA pairs to the 30th anniversary releases.

FILA x Pokémon (2018)

The first official Pokémon sneakers aimed at adults came from FILA in February 2018. The capsule launched in South Korea and focused on the Gen 1 favourites: Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Jigglypuff.

Most of the pairs used simple canvas silhouettes, with a matching lining for each Pokémon and a Poké Ball label on the tongue. The standout was a triple-strap white leather Court Deluxe for Pikachu. Even the shoebox was designed as a Poké Ball, which tells you how seriously the details were taken.

Converse x Pokémon (2021)

For the 25th anniversary, Converse brought the original class of Pokémon to the Chuck Taylor All Star. The collection released on 10 December 2021, for adults and kids.

Three pairs defined it. The 'First Partner' Chuck came in black with Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Meowth and Jigglypuff graphics. The 'Poké Ball' Chuck paired an all-over print with a domed, squeezable Poké Ball on the side. And the yellow Pikachu pair turned the toe cap into Pikachu's face and the heel into its tail.

Comme des Garçons x Pokémon x Vans (2022)

The most understated pair on this list came from Comme des Garçons. In September 2022, the Japanese label added Vans to its Pokémon collaboration with the Old Skool LX 'Pikachu'.

The shoe is almost entirely white, with a tonal leather side stripe and Pikachu artwork placed along the rubber sidewall. It is the opposite of most Pokémon sneakers: no loud colour blocking, no character face on the toe, just a quiet nod for people who know.

PUMA x Pokémon (2022)

PUMA's first major Pokémon collection arrived on 12 November 2022. The Slipstream became Charmander, while the Suede, Rider FV and TRC Blaze Court were dedicated to Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Gengar.

Each pair hid small details on the tongue label, insole and heel. The pair that stands out most, though, is the PUMA x Pokémon RS-X 'Pikachu' (2022), a chunky yellow runner that was part of a separate exclusive capsule.

Clarks x Pokémon (2023 and 2024)

Clarks is probably the least expected name here. The British brand first worked with Pokémon in 2023 on a collection built around the First Partner Pokémon.

The second collection followed on 5 December 2024 and moved on to the fully evolved Kanto Pokémon: Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise and Mewtwo. All of them sit on the chunky Torhill Explore sole, with textured collars inspired by each Pokémon, pixel art labels and custom fobs, with Mewtwo in grey and pink suede as the special edition.

Crocs x Pokémon (2024 to 2026)

Few brands have released as many Pokémon pairs in recent years as Crocs. It started with a Pikachu clog in early 2024, followed on 1 August 2024 by a Gen 1 pack with Gengar, Charizard, Snorlax and Jigglypuff, each with its own set of Jibbitz charms.

In 2025, Crocs added the 'Starters' clog, a platform clog for Eevee and the 'Charizard & Blastoise' Versus clog, which puts one Pokémon on each foot. For the 30th anniversary, a new Pikachu and Gengar clog and a Jigglypuff platform pair followed in 2026.

Love them or not, the Crocs x Pokémon clogs have become a collection of their own. Most pairs are relatively affordable, which is exactly why so many people collect the whole set.

PUMA x Pokémon 30th Anniversary (2026)

PUMA opened the 30th anniversary year with the All-Pro Nitro 2 'Pikachu' on 1 April 2026, a performance basketball shoe in yellow with red suede details for Pikachu's cheeks.

One day later, the 'Day & Night' pack followed, inspired by the sun and moon cycle. Espeon got the Mostro with a fuzzy pink upper, Umbreon a black Fade with reflective details, Mimikyu an off-white Inverse and Pikachu a yellow Fade with a crumpled black heel panel. Alongside it, PUMA also brought Pikachu back to the Suede.

adidas x Pokémon 30th Anniversary (2026)

The biggest Pokémon sneaker collection so far came from adidas on 22 September 2026. More than a dozen silhouettes were turned into Pokémon: Pikachu, Charmander, Charmeleon and Charizard on the Superstar, Mewtwo on the Samba OG, Handball Spezial and ZX 8000, Rayquaza on the Megaride F50, and Gastly, Haunter and Gengar across the Adistar line.

What sets this collection apart is that the designs go beyond printed graphics. Each pair takes physical details from its Pokémon, and every pair comes with Poké Ball lace dubraes, character tongue tags and insoles showing the full evolution line. The adidas x Pokémon Samba OG 'Mewtwo' (2026) in Ice Lavender/Violet and the adidas x Pokémon Superstar Vintage 'Charizard' (2026) are two of the standouts.
