KLEKT is back. On 15 October, KLEKT 3.0 goes live, and it is the biggest update we have ever made. We have listened to your feedback over the past months, and a lot of what you told us has gone straight into the new platform.
Last week we gave you a first glimpse. Today we can tell you more about what changes on launch day, and what follows after it.
Back to Our Roots
When KLEKT started in 2013, every listing was a real item from a real seller. Over the years, the marketplace moved towards shared product pages, where many listings sat behind the same catalogue image. It made browsing simple, but you could not always see exactly what you were buying.
Our marketplace has been completely reworked around our community. We are now introducing a new KLEKT hybrid listing system, that combines the best of shared product pages and individual, bespoke listings. Giving you a clear and easy way to find the pairs you want, the way you want.
Product pages stay, especially for new releases, where you will still find the official images. Alongside them, Sellers can now list their own individual items, with their own photos and their own description.
In short: you will be extra clear on what you are buying from each Seller. When a listing shows the Seller's own photos, the pair in the photos is the pair that arrives at your door.
More Than Sneakers
KLEKT 3.0 also opens the marketplace up to a much wider variety of items. Alongside the hottest sneakers, you will find streetwear, vintage apparel, accessories and some of the rarest collectibles around.
That means the things that sit next to your pairs on the shelf now have a home on KLEKT too. Whether you collect sneakers, clothing, figures or cards, you will be able to buy and sell it all in one place.
KLEKT 3.0 Launch: Stage 1 and What Comes Next
On 15 October, we launch Stage 1 of KLEKT 3.0. It is the foundation of the new KLEKT: the new platform, individual item listings alongside product pages, member profiles and the new categories.
Stage 2 follows in the coming weeks. It brings messaging between Buyers and Sellers, so you can ask questions and talk to each other directly on KLEKT, along with more features for Sellers. We will share the details here on the KLEKT Blog as soon as each part is ready.
