Most Halloween sneakers wear their theme on the outside. The Nike Dunk Low Premium 'Shibuya Halloween' (2026) does the opposite. From the front it looks like a dark, almost everyday Dunk. Walk away in it, though, and a pair of eyes watches from the heel.
It is the latest pair in Nike's Halloween 2026 line-up, and the first time the Tokyo-inspired Shibuya theme has made it onto the Dunk.
Croc Leather, Eyes and a Glowing Sole
The upper is mostly black, with Bog Green that reads as a deep, swampy olive. Croc-textured leather runs across sections of the upper, giving the panels a scaly surface that fits the season and sits in contrast to the smooth leather elsewhere.
The eyes on the heel are the detail that makes the pair. They are small enough that the Dunk still works as a dark everyday shoe from most angles, and only reveal the Halloween theme on a second look.
Underfoot, the outsole glows in the dark. Luminous Green in the official colourway name points straight to it, turning the sole into the most dramatic part of the shoe once the lights go out. Inside, the insoles carry "SBY", short for Shibuya.
Shibuya, SBY and Nike's Halloween History
The SBY branding is a direct link back to 2019, when Nike released three Air Force 1s tied to the Tokyo neighbourhood. Two focused on Shibuya itself, and the third, the Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Shibuya Halloween' (2019), already combined the theme with Halloween. Seven years later, the Dunk picks up where that pair left off.
Nike's Halloween run goes back much further. One of the best-known pairs is the Nike SB Dunk Low 'Mummy' (2021), wrapped in layered, bandage-like textiles in Coconut Milk with Seafoam and Yellow Strike details. Five years on, it remains one of the most recognisable Halloween SB Dunks.
Together with the Nike SB Dunk Low 'Night of Mischief' (2019) and the Halloween Dunks from 2021 and 2024, the 'Shibuya Halloween' joins a line that keeps finding new ways to hide a scare in a sneaker.
Nike Dunk Low 'Shibuya Halloween' Release
The Nike Dunk Low Premium 'Shibuya Halloween' is expected in October 2026, just in time for Halloween. The style code is IX5169-300 and the official colourway is Bog Green/Bog Green-Black-Luminous Green.
The pair already has its page on KLEKT, so you can follow it there ahead of release. In the meantime, you can browse every Halloween sneaker on KLEKT, from the SB Dunk 'Mummy' to the Air Force 1 'Shibuya Halloween'.
