The Black Cement Reimagined is Dropping Holiday 2024

It’s happening again. This holiday season we’re getting another Reimagined take on a beloved sneaker, the Air Jordan 3 ‘Black Cement’. This release looks to take the staggering success of 2023’s ‘White Cement Reimagined’ and apply it to the Black Cement. The black tumbled leather and elephant prints on the upper remain the same, with a subtle vintage yellow aged effect added to the Air midsole.

This last Black Cement 3 release was in 2018. Both that release and the upcoming Reimagined version feature the classic Nike Air branding on the TPU heel, with a red Jumpman embroidered on the tongue.

The Jordan 3s have gotten a much simpler treatment than the other Reimagined Jordan models. There aren’t any dramatic material changes like we’ve seen on the Reimagined Royal 1s or the Bred 4s. However, we can see why Jordan Brand wouldn’t want to mess with models as wearable and in-demand as the Cement 3s.

In similar news, a Reimagined take on the Air Jordan 1 High ‘Black Toe’ is also rumoured for this holiday season. This pair is looking to keep things simple too, presenting the shoe in its classic black, red and white leather without any cracked or aged effects. The only change is the block ‘AIR JORDAN’ text added to the ankle, replacing the Jordan Wings logo. This is a reference to a pair that MJ wore in an original 1984 photoshoot.

Stay tuned to KLEKTIVE for more updates on upcoming releases. In the meantime, check out the current Reimagined Range available on KLEKT.
