Travis Scott has been putting his name on Nike silhouettes for almost a decade, and most of them have been recognisable at fifty paces. Reversed Swooshes, muted earth tones and Cactus Jack branding have become familiar parts of the formula.
The Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Ice Blue' takes a different approach, and it may be one of the most considered shoes he has made with Nike so far.
Ostrich Leather on an Air Force 1
The upper is finished in ostrich-textured leather, a material treatment far removed from what you would normally expect on a basketball shoe first introduced in 1982. The colour runs almost entirely tonal, from the upper and laces through to the lining, all in soft Ice Blue and Celestine Blue tones. Instead of relying on contrasting panels, the raised texture across the leather does most of the visual work.
That is harder to pull off than it sounds. The Air Force 1 is built from multiple separate panels, so using a textured material across such a familiar silhouette can easily make the construction feel overly busy. Here, the tonal palette keeps everything connected and lets the texture become the main detail.
There is also no reversed Swoosh dominating the lateral side. That alone makes the pair an outlier within Travis Scott's Nike catalogue. Cactus Jack branding is kept relatively restrained, allowing the material and colourway to carry the shoe instead.
Where It Sits in the Cactus Jack Line
Travis Scott's last major Air Force 1 collaboration arrived in 2019. That Cactus Jack pair combined camo, corduroy, duck canvas, flannel, leather, suede and wool, complete with a detachable lace shroud and brass zip. It was maximal in almost every direction. Seven years later, the 'Ice Blue' goes the other way, relying on one dominant colour, a premium textured upper and minimal branding.
The Jordan side of the partnership has stayed busy in between. The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG 'Muslin Shy Pink' and the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG 'Tropical Pink' both released on 29 May 2026. The Pink Pack moved Travis Scott away from the Mocha, Olive and dark brown palettes that have defined so much of his Jordan output and into much brighter territory.

The Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Ice Blue' first released in limited numbers on 31 August 2026 through Nike's 47 Chrystie Street pop-up in New York, with pairs also connected to the US Open activation. A wider Cactus Jack release is scheduled for 4 September 2026. The style code is JF7727-400 and the official colourway is Ice Blue/Celestine Blue.
European pairs should not be far behind, and with the hype already building around the release, this is one to keep a close eye on over the coming days.
