In 1991, Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny became good friends. Having saved the world from The Monstars in Space Jam, the GOAT and Bugs dropped an Air Jordan 7. As we all know, a rabbit’s foot is lucky so when the Hare Jordan dropped, it was a match made in heaven. Now, we’re getting an updated version of the classic shoe almost 30 years later.
Using a green furry upper, this Jordan is reminiscent of Bugs’ feet. The upper is contrasted by soft pinks on the collar which balances the sneaker nicely. Making room on the heel, a tri-colour heel badge adds to this shoes OG’s feel. Subtle details such as a debossed “130014-100” on the collar is a knowing nod to the original colourway code.
Getting to the bottom, of the shoe, a white and grey midsole has splashes of green, orange, purple, red and black all link back to the original Hare Jordan 7. Continuing the Hare affair, a special edition box has a carrot on the top, rounding the sneaker off nicely.
Dropping on April 8th, you can expect this to be a big Jordan release. Check out the images below and let us know what’s up doc.
