Back in the 1990s, Will Smith’s influence on the sneaker game was unparalleled. Having been the star of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Smith was often spotted rocking the latest Jordans. His affiliation with the Air Jordan 5 was what got early sneakerheads excited. In fact, Smith’s love of the Jordan 5 even got recognised at Jordan Brand and they released a “Bel-Air” Air Jordan 5. It now looks like we could be seeing an alternate version of the Bel-Air 5s drop later this year.
Information is still coming through but a leaked image of the reverse colourway has surfaced online. The “Alternate Bel-Air” features a white leather upper and a vibrant 90s style pattern across the sockliner. Two vibrant Jumpman logos can be seen on the heels, with the classic number 23 on the heel. Given the success of the original Bel-Air 5s, it’s not unlikely that these will release at some point in the future.
