Ha sido un año fantástico para Nike SB. Desde principios de 2020, la división de skate de Nike ha preparado algunas de las zapatillas más buscadas del planeta. Colaboraciones con Ben & Jerry’s,Travis Scott y Strangelove Skateboards sin duda han ayudado. En los últimos meses, hemos sido tratados con imágenes filtradas de un próximo Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low. Bueno, ahora echamos un vistazo más de cerca al par “Oso Verde”.
El diseño se inspira en los osos de Bob Thomas que fueron colocados en la contraportada del álbum de 1973, History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear’s Choice). Estas zapatillas difusas cuentan con una serie de materiales que rinden homenaje a los osos. Piel sintética difusa se puede ver a través de la parte superior, con gamuza premium en las superposiciones. Of course, the subtle signatures on this sneaker are what make it great. An insole featuring all five bears can be seen, as well as a bear on the tongue and a hidden zip pocket replacing the usual padded tongue. Simple additions like the “Nike” being written in the same font as the album cover are also nice. If you’re looking for an eye-catching pair of Nike SB Dunks, look no further.
Rumoured to release later this year, the Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Lows will no doubt be hyped. Some reports suggest that this could be another skate shop exclusive, though that remains to be seen. Costing around €110, this will be a serious pair to add to your rotation.
