There is no denying the influence of Paul Rodriguez (P-Rod) has had on skating. As one of Nike SBs most treasured figures, the skater played a big part in Nike’s success in the skate world. Over the past 18 years, Rodriguez has had a number of signature skate shoes as well as his own PE Dunks. When you’re a part of the Nike family, you get treated to those exclusive pairs. Now, Nike has plans to celebrate Rodriguez’s legacy with a bold SB Dunk Low dubbed the “What The P-Rod”.
The eye-catching pair has deservedly earned its “What The” title. A number of Paul Rodriguez’s classic sneakers feature across both shoes, with each panel being completely different. From faux ostrich leather to elephant print and gradient Swooshes to black pebbled Swooshes, these are certainly going to get you noticed. The homage to P-Rod’s Nike line definitely shines throughout this upcoming SB Dunk, that’s for sure. Thankfully, we now have some on-foot shots to help us make our cop decision.
